How to export a GPX from the Suunto app
The Suunto app exports any recorded activity as a GPX file directly from your phone — no website needed.
Your activity→⋯→Export as GPX
On the website
- Suunto is app-first: the export lives in the phone app (see below). If your watch also syncs to Strava, the Strava web export works too — see that guide.
On your phone
- Open the Suunto app and go to your activity.
- Tap the three-dots (⋯) menu on the activity.
- Choose Export as GPX (listed under the export/share options) and save or share the file.
Good to know
GPX or FIT?
The app offers both — pick GPX. FIT is the raw watch format and isn't supported here.
Got your GPX? See it as art.
Drop the file on our homepage and your Suunto route renders as a gallery-grade route poster in seconds — stats auto-filled from the file, free to preview, no account and no Suunto connection needed.
