Frequently asked

The short version: what you preview is what we print, shipping is tracked and included, and if anything is wrong we fix, reprint or refund. Your GPS data stays private — you upload a file, we never connect to Strava or any other account, and unpaid designs are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Which files work?

GPX and KML, from any watch or app — Strava, Garmin, Komoot, Apple Health/Fitness, Google Earth. Export takes about 10 seconds (the upload box on the homepage shows per-app steps). No account or app connection needed: your file, your data.

What is the print quality?

Museum-grade 200 g/m² matte paper with archival inks, printed at 300 DPI. The poster is pure vector art and the preview in the editor is the exact file we print — what you see is what hangs on the wall, at any size.

Which sizes are there?

Prints come in 20×30 cm (8×12″), 30×45 cm (12×18″) and 60×90 cm (24×36″). Framed posters come in the same three sizes, in a wood frame in natural or black. The stated size is the print size. A Studio Edition on Hahnemühle fine-art paper is in preparation and not on sale yet.

How does the framed poster arrive?

The framed edition arrives assembled — the print fitted in the frame at the lab, ready to hang out of the box. We will never ship a print and a frame as loose parts you have to fit yourself.

How long does shipping take, and what does it cost?

Digital downloads are instant — the price you see is the price you pay, VAT included. Physical editions print at the production lab nearest to you and ship tracked (typically 4–8 days door-to-door), with shipping included in the price.

What if something is wrong with my order?

Two promises. Before printing: spot a typo after ordering? Email hello@lope.studio and we can fix anything until the lab starts printing. After delivery: if it arrives damaged or less than perfect, we reprint or refund — no forms, no destroy-it-on-camera rituals, just a photo and a quick email.

Can I return a poster?

Personalised prints are made only for you, so standard returns don't apply (EU distance-selling excludes custom work). That's exactly why the guarantee above exists — wrong, damaged, or just off, we make it right with a reprint or refund.

What happens to my GPS file?

The preview renders in your browser. If you save or buy a design, we store the route data to print it, and unpaid designs are deleted automatically after 30 days. We never fetch anything from Strava or any other account — you upload a file, that's all we ever see.

What exactly do I get with the digital download?

A print-ready 300 DPI file of your poster (2:3 ratio, sized for up to 60×90 cm), yours forever. Print it at any local print shop or online lab. Every physical print includes this file for free, too.

Is it a good gift?

It's mostly bought as one. You only need the runner's GPS file — ask a running friend for the export — or start from an official course page and add their finish time. The personal line ('FOR ANNA · #1024') is made for it, and digital delivery is instant for last-minute gifting.

Miles or kilometres?

Both — one toggle in the editor converts the whole stat rail, and every stat is editable or hideable. Sizes are shown in cm and inches.
