How to export a GPX from Komoot
Komoot exports both completed tours and planned routes as GPX files, from the website and from the app.
Your tour→⋯→Export GPX file
On the website
- Open komoot.com and go to your profile → Tours.
- Open the completed or planned tour you want.
- Click the three-dots (⋯) menu and choose “Export GPX file”.
On your phone
- In the Komoot app, open the tour.
- Tap the ⋯ menu → “Export GPX file”, then share/save the file to your phone.
- You can upload straight from your phone — the poster editor works on mobile.

Completed tour vs planned tour
A completed tour carries your real time (the poster auto-fills time and pace). A planned route has no times — type your own finish into the editable stats.
Do I need Komoot Premium?
No — GPX export of your own tours is free.
